Last updated on November 8, 2018

weebly mobile optimizationMobile optimization is a huge deal nowadays for websites, and this is no exception for Weebly websites and Weeby users.

Luckily, Weebly offers automatic mobile optimization for its users so their websites are always ready to go for mobile devices.

It’s as simple as clicking a box in Weebly Editor settings and your website will be automatically “optimized”.

As smart phone users are rising on a global basis, and that the surfing of the internet and websites are becoming more mobile, it is definitely important to consider taking up Weebly’s “mobile optimization” option.

However, you better check the “optimized” version of your website before permanently using that tool.

DivTag Templates went ahead and tested out this option with a number of our Weebly websites and it is in their conclusion (as each person may have his/her own opinion), using the UN-optimized version works much better for them from a design perspective, and hence better user experiences.

Counter-intuitive huh…. well, watch the following video that was posted on their blog to understand what they mean.

In this video tutorial, we will show you how to turn on / off the mobile optimization function, and the before and after effects of mobile optimization.

Maybe just like you, at first we didn't have a darn clue about how to build a website, nevermind write half a line of code if our life depended on it! We wanted to build a website to start a side business, and felt overwhelmed, confused & scared about how to actually do it, which builder to use, and making wrong decisions. After years of trials & errors using different website builders, we're here to share our experiences with you.
