Instagram Trend: Something To Take the Edge Off

Everyone has a vice – whether it’s impulse shopping, doom scrolling on social media, or eating an entire bar of Hershey’s chocolate. This Instagram trend for July plays on this, with participants miming the act of smoking a cigarette, but instead, holding their favorite guilty pleasure between their fingers.

Businesses have used this comical video template as a way to show off their latest and bestselling products and services, holding anything from a phone case to an entire coffee between their fingers – the more implausible the better!

  • Select the trending sound above and click “Use audio”
  • Hold the item between your index and middle fingers, along with the caption “Just a little something to take the edge off”
