Hostinger offers seven different types of hosting, each with their own set of pricing plans and features. We’ll go into more detail about each plan, for now, these are the cheapest starter prices for each annual plan, alongside their renewal prices:

Hostinger Pricing Plans

  1. Shared web hosting $2.99 per month / renews at $5.99 per month
  2. Cloud hosting $9.99 per month / renews at $24.99 per month
  3. WordPress hosting $2.99 per month / renews at $5.99 per month
  4. VPS hosting $3.99 per month / renews at $7.99 per month

It can be hard to decide when you are figuring out how to host a website, and although Hostinger is a cheap provider it’s not always the best value with an overall value score of 2.9 out of 5. In this post, we’ll explain the various hosting types – as well as the features they include – to help you pick the best Hostinger plan for you.

Hostinger Pricing in a Nutshell

Let’s get right into it:

  • Hostinger’s cheapest plans are its shared web hosting plans, which range from $1.99 to $3.99 per month (when you pay for a 48 month plan) and you get a free domain with its Premium shared plan
  • Hostinger’s most expensive plans are its 8 VPS hosting plans, which range from $3.49 all the way up to $77.99 per month, for a years plan.

Although the prices vary quite a bit, we found through our in-house research that Hostinger is the best hosting platform for discounted prices, although you need to choose your plan wisely to get the most out of your money. Hostinger scores a nice 4.6 out of 5 for value for money in our Small Business category. This is thanks largely to the starter plan discounts Hostinger offers, making it super budget friendly.

Most of Hostinger’s pricing plans have a basic (starter) level, a premium level, and an enterprise level, which gradually increase in cost.

Hostinger Pricing Plans: How Much Does Each Plan Cost per Month

Hostinger offers pretty large discounts on its plans compared to their regular prices. However, something to keep in mind is that these discounted prices are only for new customers, and the regular price will kick in once that first term is over.

For example, if you opt for Hostinger’s Premium Web Hosting plan for 12 months, you’ll be paying $2.99 per month for the first 12 months. But once this initial period is over, your plan will renew at the price of $8.99 per month (unless you choose to cancel your renewal).

Hostinger offers cheaper prices for longer contracts, the longest being 48 months. Check out the table below, which shows each type of hosting, the cheapest plan available for each type (discounted and normal price), and the discount savings you’ll be looking at per month:

Pricing Plan Cheapest Plan: Discount Price/Month (48 months) Cheapest Plan: Discount Price/Month (12 months) Cheapest Plan:

The longer your subscription is, the more you’ll end up saving in discounts with any plan.

For instance, if you opt for a one-month subscription plan for Single Web Hosting, not only will you have to pay a huge $9.99 per month, but you’ll also incur a $4.99 setup fee. Whereas the same plan costs only $1.99 per month when you choose a 48-month subscription!

Although a 12-month commitment initially feels overwhelming, you’re only paying $2.99 per month, with a 30-day money back guarantee, and saving a colossal $84 a year while you‘re at it – doesn’t seem so bad after all! In this review, we’ll be looking mostly at Hostinger’s 12-month prices.

When you check out Hostinger’s pricing plans, you’ll see that there’s a discounted price and a regular price, which can seem slightly confusing! To top it off, you’ll also come across a renewal price – so what does this all mean?

Essentially, you’ll pay the discounted price when you sign up to a plan – the longer your subscription is for, the bigger the savings will be. The regular price is just to indicate what you would be paying if the generous promotional offer didn’t apply.

Remember, the ‘regular’ price isn’t the same as the ‘renewal’ price. The renewal price comes into effect once the promotional period is over – and it’s still much cheaper than the regular price.

Discounted price: The price you actually pay

Regular price: What you would initially be paying per month if the discounted price wasn’t applied

Renewal price: What Hostinger starts charging you per month once the initial subscription term has ended

Let’s take a look at the individual plans in more detail to find out what benefits and features each one can offer your website, and which one best suits your budget.

Hostinger Shared Web Hosting: Plans, Features & Costs

Single Web Hosting: $9.99 $2.99/month

Top Tip: It’s important to note that shared hosting is the cheapest type of hosting. It involves multiple websites being hosted on a single physical server, so resources are much more limited for website owners – hence the price drop.

Hostinger introduces its Single Web Hosting plan at the discounted price of $2.99 per month, when you choose a 12-month subscription. Fast forward to a year months later, and the renewal price is $5.99 per month. That’s a saving of $84 compared to choosing a month-by-month payment! Hostinger BlueHost HostGator
Cheapest Shared Hosting Price/Mo $1.99 (48 month plan) $2.95 $2.75

Unlike rival hosting providers, Hostinger isn’t able to offer a free domain or a great amount of storage with its cheapest shared plan. However, you’ll notice its significantly lower price, which is perfect for those getting started on a limited budget.

In testing, Bluehost got a shared pricing score of 3.1 out of 5, and HostGator got a 3.6/5, while Hostinger steams ahead with a 3.7 out of 5 for its shared pricing.

But, Bluehost and HostGator have a lot more added benefits at play, such as a free Cloudflare CDN (Content Delivery Network), hence the greater expense when signing up to those providers.

Shared Hosting: Cheap But Limited

A cool way to think of shared hosting is like living in a shared house. You have your own room with all your belongings (i.e., your website). However, the resources such as milk, toilet paper and living essentials are limited, because you’re sharing them with others. Essentially, your room is your website, and the house is your server!

Why Do I Need WordPress Hosting?

Websites built with require hosting in order to go live. WordPress is great for constructing your site, but its themes and features are limited without reliable hosting. In order to use your own domain and have control over which plugins are installed with WordPress, you’ll also need hosting.

With all this in mind, let’s take a look at the range of features each Hostinger WordPress plan offers to help you choose the best one for your site.

Hostinger VPS Hosting: Plans, Features & Costs

VPS Server Plan 1: $8.99 $3.99/month

VPS hosting is great if you have a regular website, because the guaranteed features and upgraded performance make it more reliable, even when you experience spikes in visitor traffic. Hostinger got a low overall score of 3.7 out of 5 in our VPS testing because of its poor performance and lack of green initiatives.

The cool (but slightly complicated) thing here is that Hostinger offers eight different types of VPS hosting. With so many options to choose from, you’re probably wondering which VPS hosting will work best for you.

VPS hosting ranges between $3.99 and $117.99 per month, when you pay for 12 months. The more expensive the plan gets, the bigger and better the features become, such as the amount of disk space and bandwidth you’re allowed.

Here you can check out all of the VPS hosting plans that Hostinger has to offer, alongside its discounted monthly prices and individual features for an easy comparison:

Features VPS 1 VPS 2 VPS 3 VPS 4 VPS 5 VPS 6 VPS 7 VPS 8

Dedicated IP Address yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
Bandwidth 1 TB 2 TB 3 TB 4 TB 6 TB 8 TB 10 TB 12 TB

All of Hostinger’s VPS hosting plans (even the cheapest one) offer a dedicated IP address that’s unique to your server alone.

The most popular VPS Hostinger plan is its VPS Server Plan 2 for $5.99 per month for 12 months, discounted from $12.99, saving you 54% overall. After the first year, this plan renews at $9.99 per month.

This VPS Server Plan 2 plan provides you with an excellent amount of storage, disk space, and bandwidth. That said, the cheaper VPS Server Plan 1 still offers plenty of storage capacity if you’re looking to keep costs down.

Hostinger promises ‘top-level’ data backups and an easy-to-use system, and you can restore and back up all of your files thanks to its cloud technology. This is great if you don’t feel too confident about VPS hosting overall, and need something that’s more developer-friendly – without the technical complications!

There’s still a 30-day money back guarantee to fall back on with each VPS hosting plan, in case you later decide to change or upgrade your package.

Hostinger VPS Pricing vs Competitor Pricing

Hostinger BlueHost HostGator
Cheapest VPS Hosting Price/Mo $3.99 $24.99 $29.95
SSD Storage 20 GB 30 GB 120 GB
Bandwidth 1 TB 1 TB Unmetered
Dedicated IPs 1 1 2

Hostinger, again, is in the lead in terms of offering the cheapest VPS hosting plan, while still being able to provide a comfortable amount of storage and bandwidth.

Bluehost and HostGator have a feature-rich VPS hosting plan for just a few more bucks than Hostinger, but that extra money eventually adds up, and may start to stretch your budget.

Overall, if you’re looking for a friend to your budget in your hosting, Hostinger’s VPS plan is a great choice. VPS hosting is just fine if you want to stay within a limited budget, but still have the capacity to run a regular website that deals with spikes in traffic – in other words, it’s an effective way to scale your website and keep it secure!

Do I Need VPS Hosting?

To follow the shared house analogy, VPS is more like your own apartment in a building block. Essentially, all the resources you get from the hosting provider are solely yours – and there’s no longer the risk of other websites using them up!

Hostinger Cloud Hosting: Plans, Features & Costs

Cloud Startup Hosting: $24.99 $9.99/month

Cloud hosting is ideal for ecommerce stores, lead generation sites, and high-traffic projects.

Unlike shared hosting, which takes a more centralized approach, cloud hosting allows a single website to utilize more than one server. Websites can sometimes be so large that they have to use multiple servers to handle the load – such as social networks and search engines.

Hostinger has three different cloud hosting plans:

  • Basic plan – Cloud Startup: $9.99 per month, renews at $24.99/mo
  • Premium plan – Cloud Professional: $14.99 per month, renews at $44.99/mo
  • Business plan – Cloud Enterprise: $29.99 per month, renews at $59.99/mo

Each of Hostinger’s cloud hosting plans are rich in features, and work to prevent technical difficulties for owners of larger websites.

Let’s take a deeper dive into what each of Hostinger’s cloud hosting plans can offer you:

Features Cloud Startup Cloud Professional Cloud Enterprise
Starter Price/Mo $9.99 $14.99 $29.99
Regular Price/Mo $24.99 $49.99 $64.99
% Savings/Mo 60% 70% 53%

Free Domain Yes Yes Yes
Free CDN Yes Yes Yes
Free SSL Yes Yes Yes
Cores 2 CPU 4 CPU 6 CPU
RAM 3 GB 6 GB 12GB
SSD Storage 200 GB 250 GB 300 GB

There’s so much more at play with cloud hosting features, because of the larger websites these plans attract. All of Hostinger’s cloud hosting plans offer unlimited bandwidth and other freebies, to keep big sites from having to pay extra for features they really need.

With both the Cloud Professional and Cloud Enterprise plans, Hostinger provides a free migration – which essentially means it’ll move your website over from any other web host of your choosing, so you don’t have to worry about any complicated technicalities. Not bad!

Cloud Hosting Cost Breakdown for 12 Months:

Hostinger Cloud Pricing vs Competitor Pricing

In terms of Hostinger’s rival hosting providers, platforms such as Bluehost and HostGator also offer cloud plans with plenty of awesome features to cater to busy sites that deal with a lot of traffic. Here’s a comparison breakdown of the cheapest cloud hosting plans when you opt for a minimum subscription of 12 months:

Of course, it’s not ideal for those looking to stay within a tighter budget, as the difference in price could be considered quite steep – though we still reckon that Hostinger’s cloud hosting plan offers great value for money!

Hostinger Pricing: FAQs

No, but Hostinger does have a 30 day money-back guarantee! So if you’re not satisfied with Hostinger you can get your money back if you request it within the 30 day limit.
Hostinger has been ranked as one of the best in our testing of hosting providers. But, we’d say there are other hosting providers that do it better than Hostinger, like Bluehost and HostGator. As Hostinger doesn’t have a Dedicated plan for those that want a server all to themselves.
This depends on the type of hosting, but the two hosting providers that consistently score the best for pricing are Bluehost and DreamHost. But Hostinger’s prices are always changing, and can often have super discounts that make it the cheapest too.
In our research, Hostinger got a score of 3.7 out of 5 overall, while Bluehost received a 4.8 out of 5. That’s because Bluehost offers the best VPS, Dedicated, and WordPress plans overall, and a pretty Shared plans too.
