Wix AI Site Generator: The Future of Web Design

• Wix AI Site Generator will be coming soon to Wix users, where site creation is a matter of giving the AI a few prompts.
• It has also announced a few other AI tools including a Business Assistant.

From the Wix website builder to now seemingly the Wix AI builder. Wix users will be able to create a website in a matter of seconds, after inputting a few lines on what your website is designed to do. Simply type in the chat “I’d like a website for promoting my artwork” and this new tool promises to create your entire website, giving you options and asking you what you prefer along the way.

Wix has been at the forefront of AI tools, already having an AI text creator, AI template text creator, AI image creator, product descriptions, and more. But it’s jumping on the trend to create an assistant to aid you in answering business questions, along with the huge one – creating your whole site.

What Is Wix’s AI Site Generator?

Wix AI Site Generator is changing the way we build websites, alongside the traditional way of picking a template and learning how to create a website – AI will now create it for you. It works by asking you what you intend for your website, and ChatGPT will generate the text and further AI tools will create the website design and images.

This is big news because the AI will now create a completely new website, utterly unique, in a matter of seconds. It will be generated from your specific needs, all from the Wix AI algorithm. It even goes beyond just creating your initial website, you can then edit your website with the tool, asking it to change elements, and exactly how you want it to be changed.

The Other AI Tools Wix Announced

Along with the Site Generator, Wix users will gain an AI Page and Section Creator. Instead of looking at the preselected page sections and pages to add to your website, you’ll be able to go straight into Wix AI and ask it directly to create a certain page with the elements you want. This could make building a website even quicker with Wix.

What’s more, Wix is going to release an AI Assistant for managing the business side. Wix’s CEO said:

“We are now working on a new AI Assistant tool. It will suggest improvements for your website and create strategies based on personalized analytics and site trends. The best thing is that it will help you with your day-to-day tasks to take your business to the next level. I truly enjoy this product and that it will help you boost your business.”

Similar to the recent announcement of Shopify Sidekick, Wix will also have an AI assistant to hand. The big difference it seems between the two AI assistants is that Shopify’s will do tasks on command when you ask the AI to do something – while Wix’s will actively suggest website improvements to make for you. This could be a huge help to small businesses who don’t know what needs to be updated or checked.

But for now, we’re still not sure whether these new AI tools will benefit businesses, since we can’t test them firsthand to let you know yet. They certainly promise a money and time-saving solution, but we will hold off on saying whether they’re worth your time until we’ve tested them to know for sure.
