GoDaddy Launches AI Prompt Library To Help Small Businesses

With AI news and content everywhere, it’s no surprise that GoDaddy has jumped on the bandwagon while it’s still hot.

The website builder, hosting provider, and all-around business solution platform, GoDaddy, has launched the Small Business Generative AI Prompt Library. The library currently holds 35 prompts – requests for AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google Bard to work on.

The purpose of these prompts is to help small business owners with content creation and frequently occurring issues. For example, the prompts can help generate marketing ideas, flesh out content calendars, or even help you craft a response to a difficult customer.

Geoff Clawson, the VP of Product, Websites + Marketing for GoDaddy said this of the new feature: “It gives small businesses the ability to accomplish a variety of tasks quickly and easily. We’ve taken the mystery out of writing effective prompts for small businesses.”

What Is Generative AI?

Don’t worry if you can’t wrap your head around the world of AI just yet, it’s a pretty new feature in the website builder world. But you might have seen the term AI or ChatGPT name thrown around, and aren’t sure what it all means.

Generative AI (artificial intelligence) simply refers to a type of technology that can produce new content, including text and images. ChatGPT is an example of generative AI – you give the model a prompt and it’ll deliver a response.

The library includes prompts such as:

• “Act as a marketing copywriter and ask me for an existing product description to rewrite. Then rewrite the product description so it’s more effective at converting prospects into customers.”
• “Act as a social media expert. Coach me on responding to a customer who left a negative review. Help me be empathetic, let the customer know we hear their issue and that we’ll try to fix the problem. The customer had complaints about <topic>.”

Small business owners can harness these prompts to get usable responses out of AI chatbots like ChatGPT.

Going forward, GoDaddy expects to add new prompts to the library and develop fresh ways to integrate AI into its features, such as adding relevant slogans to videos depending on the customer’s location.
