What Is a Shopify Milestone Award? Shopify Milestones are awarded to sellers as they hit certain sales figures. There are three Shopify Milestone awards that you can claim as your orders grow:10K Shopify Milestone: A white award for 10,000 lifetime orders100K Shopify Milestone: A silver award for 100,000 lifetime orders1M Shopify Milestone: A gold award for 1million lifetime ordersThe shopping bag-shaped award is resemblant of Shopify’s iconic logo. When you receive one, it’ll be engraved with your shop name and date of your achievement.Sellers flock to social media to share their wins with their followers. Source: LinkedIn user Mitzi Toro Claiming Your Shopify Milestone When you’re eligible for a Shopify Milestone award, you’ll get a notification in two places:Your Shopify adminThe store owner’s email addressIt’s worth keeping a close eye out for these communications, since Shopify won’t send your award until you request it.The email will contain all the information you need to claim your Shopify Milestone. Once you’ve claimed it, your Shopify Milestone will be engraved and shipped to your chosen address within six to eight weeks. 🤔I’ve hit the right amount of orders – where’s my email? It’s important to note that free, imported, cancelled, returned, off-platform, and pending orders do not count towards your shop’s lifetime order total. However, POS orders linked to your ecommerce store do.But if you’re confident that you’ve reached the lifetime order target and still haven’t heard from Shopify, you may not be eligible for the award. Shopify explains you must also:Have an active paid Shopify plan that isn’t in the three day free trial or the three month discounted offerHave activated Shopify’s native payment gateway, Shopify PaymentsNot use password protection on your storeHave no history of fraudulent behaviorBecause of the personalization and timely shipping, your store can only claim one award for every milestone. Celebrate Your Online Sales Celebrating ecommerce wins can be overlooked as a small business, so I highly recommend checking to see if you’re eligible for a Shopify Milestone. But be quick – you can only claim an award up until the point you qualify for the next one!When you get an award, shout it from the rooftops – you deserve it! Post it on social media, share a “thank you” discount to your loyal customers, or create behind-the-scenes unboxing content.
