This trend is hot off the press for August, and it’s one of the most creative methods of ecommerce storytelling I’ve seen in a long time. Brands are creating custom emoji keyboards and using them to depict the vibe of their products and services. The clever part of this trend is that it uses AI-powered visuals to show off what your brand is about and tell a story that attracts your social media target audience. For example, I saw a yoga business use emojis like a yoga mat, and also include other items that often pair with yoga, such as a coffee(🍵), sneakers (👟), and a shower (🚿).This makeup brand has used some of its most popular makeup products, but also included other emojis that exude the summery vibe of the brand, such as a sun, an ice cream, and a matcha.
