AI website tools floating above a laptop

New AI features are introduced to website builders every month, with the top platforms competing to stay ahead by providing tools to help with content creation, marketing, and more.

This page will be updated regularly with the latest AI website builder tools from Wix, Squarespace, Hostinger, Shopify, and GoDaddy.

Wix has introduced four key AI tools in 2025 so far:

AI Visibility Overview ⬇️

Announced July 16, Wix has rolled out an AI Visibility Overview tool to help websites gain a better understanding of how their brand appears in AI search engines. With the rollout of AI Overviews in Google and the growing popularity of platforms like Perplexity and ChatGPT, businesses need to ensure they’re monitoring performance and visibility to better optimize their content.

AI Marketing Agent, Kleo ⬇️

Kleo was launched in June this year, providing Wix users with an AI-powered marketing assistant. This AI tool will help you develop marketing plans, set up campaigns for social media, create emails and ads, and much more.

Wix Astro ⬇️

Astro is an AI-powered business assistant that Wix rolled out in April 2025. Available to all users in the Wix dashboard, you can ask Astro questions, request data, or get Astro to complete a task for you, such as adding a new product to your store.

Business Launcher ⬇️

Wix kicked off 2025 with a new AI tool: Business Launcher. The three-step process asks you to describe your skills and work experience, and then suggests personalized business ideas for you to choose from. At the final stage, the Business Launcher tool generates a complete action plan for you to follow, helping you get your new business off the ground.

Squarespace hasn’t released any new AI features in 2025, but I’ll update this section as soon as there’s any update.

So far, Hostinger has launched two new AI tools this year:

Hostinger Reach ⬇️

Hostinger introduced its AI-powered email marketing tool in June. Previously, Hostinger’s website builder lacked any email marketing features, so this is a great addition to its platform. You can ask Hostinger Reach to generate email templates, set up campaigns, and streamline workflows.

Hostinger Horizons ⬇️

In February, Hostinger launched Hostinger Horizons. The AI-powered tool takes a detailed prompt and generates a custom web app and SaaS software for you. Hostinger Horizons handles the coding, making the process of creating a web app from scratch incredibly accessible for beginners.

Shopify integrates most of its AI-powered functionality into Shopify Magic and Shopify Sidekick, but there are two key updates to discuss so far this year:

Shopify Editions: Summer ‘25 ⬇️

Shopify’s bi-annual announcement shares the latest updates and features from the builder. This year’s summer edition included:

  • AI-generated custom blocks for your pages
  • Improvements to Shopify Sidekick, including the addition of image generation
  • AI-powered fraud prevention if you’re using Shopify Payments

AI Store Setup ⬇️

Launched in March, Shopify’s AI store setup can generate a personalized template for your website. You describe your business in a few keywords or a simple sentence, and Shopify will deliver three custom themes to suit your needs. It’s not as hands-on as Squarespace’s Blueprint AI builder or as conversational as Wix’s AI chatbot, but it helps small businesses stand out from the start.

GoDaddy has rolled out a few AI improvements this year, but I’ve listed three key updates below:

GoDaddy Airo Updates ⬇️

GoDaddy Airo was first added to the website builder in 2024, but GoDaddy has made improvements to the suite this year. In particular, businesses can now get unique suggestions from Airo to help name, build, and grow their brand. And, if you’re subscribed to a premium GoDaddy plan, GoDaddy Airo is now automatically included.

Catalog Creation ⬇️

Businesses using GoDaddy can use AI to help add new products to their inventory, organize products, and update information quickly. This is really valuable if you manage a large inventory or need to make bulk changes.

Smart Storefront Customizer ⬇️

This AI-powered tool helps you make design changes to your online store, without much effort from your end. The Smart Storefront Customizer can even help with optimizing your site for mobile and creating merchandise for your business.

    Dear Emma,

Greetings. I'm considering putting my toe in the website building water for building a family website.

I've been reading that a beginner should consider using Wix for building the website - and also explore using "the"? "a" AI tool to help design/create/build the website.

I'm not only a beginner that doesn't know the website building language/process, but I'm also concerned about privacy - and my only prior use of AI is minimal (due to both lack of need/want, and for privacy concerns). In the few times I've use AI, I have only used the duck.ai suggested by duckduckgo, as I'm a fan of duckduckgo for my internet browsing as I understand from duckduckgo that the company is passionate about privacy. I also understand that when one uses duck.ai, the questions/answers will not be stored on online servers, but instead will only be stored on the user's computer. At least that's my understanding.

So, if I was to use AI to help design/create/build a website on the Wix platform, I would like to use duck.ai.

Do you know if one could use duck.ai to help design/create/build the website on the Wix platform? (I tried to find the answer to that question in various searches, but struck out - and during my search saw your posts and thought you might know or could guide me to the answer).

    Thank you.

      Hi Mike,

Thanks for your fantastic question and being so frank about your AI concerns. Emma is a little busy right now, but I'm happy to answer. :)

Unfortunately, you can't use Duck.ai to create a website in Wix. Wix is a self-contained tool and its AI website builder only knows how to interact with other Wix features - not external tools like Duck.AI.

You could use Wix to create the base structure of your website, use Duck.ai separately to refine your website's creative ideas, and add a password to your finished Wix website so it's private to family members. Though this might not be an ideal solution due to your privacy concerns, it's something you could consider. You could read Wix's privacy policy to see what you're exchanging in return for their service.

I hope that answers your question.

      Best,
      Holly.
