While Wix’s editor is very beginner-friendly, there are a huge amount of styling options and designs to choose from, which can feel overwhelming to start with. That said, Wix does accommodate to all skill levels because of the vast range of tools available.

When testing GoDaddy, I found myself ticking off essential tasks with no real headache, such as editing my site’s SEO and adding products. However, I did have some difficulty with the backend navigation at points, and I had to spend a fair chunk of time polishing my site’s design (because of GoDaddy’s lackluster options), which sort of counters the user-friendly image. For a builder that positions itself as a good option for beginners, I’d argue GoDaddy needs to improve its user experience to compete with other easy-to-use builders.
