How Wix’s Astro AI Assistant Boosts Business Growth

It’s one of many Wix AI features; you can access the feature for free from your Wix account. Astro supports Wix users and merchants 24/7, whether you need help completing a task (such as adding a product to your inventory) or simply need to find your SEO settings. Astro can advise you, produce content, deliver reports, and guide you to the relevant resource.

Wix first launched its AI-powered business assistant in April 2025. Astro is currently available for English users only, but will roll out more widely soon.

Wix Astro provides responsive AI assistance with comprehensive business support capabilities. I could easily find the chatbot in my dashboard, and it felt very responsive during my tests. New businesses and first-time website builders will benefit from Astro’s 24/7 guidance and task assistance.

Use Wix Astro Now

You can find Astro in the top right of your Wix dashboard. It’s marked by a blue button that says “AI” with two blue sparkles. Once you click on this box, a chat will appear on the right side of your screen. Astro introduces itself with a simple message and will ask how it can assist you.

There’s a text box at the bottom of this chat where you can ask your question or make a request using natural language. Alternatively, you can click the microphone button in the box if you want to verbally chat to Astro instead.

Astro is only accessible from the Wix dashboard, not from the editor or when using Wix’s AI website builder. The same blue sparkle button appears in the editor, but it’ll direct you to other AI tools that specifically help with designing a website, such as the AI theme assistant or AI text creator.

What Can You Ask Wix Astro?

For example, I asked Astro to “create a new blog post”, and after sharing some more information about key points and my target audience, Astro created a post (complete with images, headings, and a meta tag) in less than 30 seconds.

Other AI prompt examples you can use with Astro include:

Astro doesn’t replace Wix’s existing customer service channels, but it’s a mighty addition to the team.
